Head Trainer & Founder – Super Smart Dog Training Academy

Enrique is the founder and head trainer of Super Smart Dog Training Academy, based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. With years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, Enrique specialises in helping owners build calm, reliable, and well-balanced dogs in the real world.

His training philosophy, based on dog psychology, is grounded in clarity, structure, and fairness. Enrique believes dogs thrive when their owners are given a sound knowledge of dog psychology, some practical tools they can confidently apply at home, on walks, and in everyday situations so that the dogs clearly understand what is expected of them. Every training program is tailored to the individual dog and family, recognising that no two dogs (or owners) are the same.

• Adult dogs struggling with fear, reactivity, leash pulling, or poor impulse control

In addition to running Super Smart Dog Training Academy, Enrique is also the owner of Pets in Wonderland, a Gold Coast pet business dedicated to high-quality nutrition, enrichment, and a Doggy daycare. This gives him a holistic understanding of how training, nutrition, environment, and daily routines all work together to shape canine behaviour.

Known for his calm, honest, and results-driven approach, Enrique focuses on creating lasting behavioural change, not quick fixes. His goal is simple: to help owners understand their dogs better, build strong communication, and enjoy a more relaxed and rewarding life together.
